United Texas Tour indefinitely postponed

One of the marquee events on USA Cycling's National Racing Calendar, the
inaugural United Texas Tour, announced today that the race has been
postponed indefinitely.

"It's unfortunate that it looks as though the United Texas Tour will not
take place in 2005," commented Gerard Bisceglia, USA Cycling's chief
executive officer. "We certainly understand and respect United's decision to
put their plans on hold given the current state of affairs, yet we hope
their vision for an outstanding event is realized in the future."
