Apple I guess, not a good comparison. Certainly not Linux.

What would Suntour be?

Amiga? OS/2? Acorn?

I really don't think Shimano/Microsoft is a fair comparison.

What would Suntour be?

Ooooof. lordy. that old suntour stuff did work didn't it? w/ CP/M tho
i get mixed up with the hardware which was crazy unreliable. i rememeber
pulling the Imsai's S-100 bus cards and reseating all the memory (4k) every
week or whenever the machine wouldn't boot. groovy text games, tho.
dungeon, adventure, wumpus.

you won't catch me saying back in the good old days .. my memory is too
good.

Campagnolo is Netscape.
