Default Cycle Tunnels

Some years ago there was a proposal in Holland for cycle tunnels to be built above railway lines. The idea was to cycle from home to the station and rather than putting your SUV on a train you would cycle into the city in a tunnel with fans creating a tail wind. It saves energy and cyclists would not be crammed into carriages with stinky motorists.
