Default sterling house bikes

My bike never arrived, but they took my money immediately.Five weeks
later, I got an awful bike that I didn't order with eastern european
parts. The chain broke straight away and I walked up little hills it was
so heavy. I got a 150 pound raleigh tourer that week-which was a good
basic buy that i have cycled many miles on-try Argos.Even Halfords are
better. Don't try Sterling House.

There's a surprise. What do you expect for £49.99?

Don't try Sterling House.

None of us here would and we've always advised against. We call them
Bike Shaped Objects or BSOs for short.

I'm sorry to hear it, but I'm unsurprised.

Too late to say it, of course, but if you'd asked here before you bought
anything, you'd have been warned off Sterling House; and someone would
probably have steered you towards this article:

"Buy cheap, buy twice" applies to bikes as much as anything else, I'm
afraid.

We could have told you this, before hand, and saved you the stress.

Try preaching to alt.consumers.uk-discounts.and.bargains - we're already
in the choir.
