In the Republic of Ireland's "Rules of the Road", much the same advice to pedestrians applies as in the rest of the British Isles.

May a pedestrian be *prosecuted* (in either the UK or in Ireland) for
not complying with the Highway Code's rules or with the equivalent -
whatever it may be - in Ireland?

It's alright... you can answer this whilst pretending to answer someone
else.
