Does yours fold like mine? I have a hard time pushing that thing into
the back of my SUV. Don't you find it difficult? You would think gyms
could supply the treadmills with the amount of dues they charge.

Haven't you guys ever heard of a bike rack? Simply attach one to the
back of the car/truck/tank, and it doesn't matter how much "car" you
actually have, or how big the bike, and you don't have to rearrange all
the detritus that tends to accumulate in the car first...

As for driving to ride, sometimes where you want to ride, isn't within
the distance you want to ride.....

so's I can tow it to the gym.

The interesting part, in my opinion, is that the bikes are being put
into SUV's during commercials to sell these gas guzzlers. They help
people take their bikes to the mountains to do these extreme rides.
It's catering to the mentality of the BIG SUV owner. Associating
extreme cycling with the rugged SUV. It's all a mind game. But
advertising is a mind game. A friend of mind said that advertising is
making people believe they need things they really don't....but when
you are though with them, they HAVE TO HAVE IT. And he owns an
Advertising agency in NYC.
Go figure.

Actually, the place I go does furnish treadmills, but I was trying to save
money by bringing my own. The idea didn't work out, though, 'cause they
wanted to charge me "corkage."

Do you believe that they mostly rode the bike from their home to all
the way to their meeting site? These folks are from all over the NY
city and outside of NY city. I doubt it they rode
the bike all the way...

Very wrong Mr. MMDIR2002. I no buy big fat SUV. I drive little piece
of **** car pontiac sunbird with broken seat and no air conditioning in
summer. All my money has gone to college tuitions and now weddings.
How convenient you judge someone you not know. I did not send kids to
college after seeing "big ad". I send kids to college to get good
career so "they" can buy big fat SUV and not have to drive crap car
like Mommy!!!!!!!!!
