Default My accident and the result

As most of you know I had a small accident involving me and a cycle path.
Well, so far it has all gone well. I phoned my local (Enfield) council and
reported the problem. I also informed them that I would be seeking
compensation. They told me that London Transport dealt with the A10 and I
would have to contact them. I then contacted them and they told that for
that stretch of highway and outside agent was used. They thanked me for the
information and they would be reviewing their work. I then contacted the
outside agent and reported my problem. Again I informed them that I would be
claiming compensation. They said that this would be OK, but I would have to
contact my insurance company and to get them to send a letter of to the
agency. So far so good in my opinion. I have taken photos of the path and of
the crack. Wide enough to lay a 50p coin at the bottom of it. Took photo of
a 20p coin next to the crack. Bike requires the front wheel to be
straightened and replacement tubes both back and front are needed. Also a
new road tyre is needed. No other damage to the bike. No psychical injures
and the sprained feeling had gone by the next night.

Had a similar experience a few years ago with the company laying cable tv,
and after a few threats, they paid up for new wheel and two tyres. V glad
there were no "psychical injuries"!

Yes, especially since he's holding a séance tonight :-)
