Dawes Audax & Other new Audax bikes
Hello,
Can anyone let me know whether they like their 2004 (Reynolds 631 & 105 shifters) Dawes Audax bike ? Also, when is the next years model due, e.g. which month ? Are there any major changes in line for the 2005 model, e.g. a sloping top tube or 853 frame (see changes to the Super Galaxy etc.) Finally, can anyone suggest other potential Audax style machines available in North East England is possible, e.g. M. Steel/Dave Yates. Looking at 853 and 105 triple, mavic open Pro's etc. Thanks in advance. |

Dawes Audax & Other new Audax bikes
Can anyone let me know whether they like their 2004 (Reynolds 631 & 105
shifters) Dawes Audax bike ? I got one yesterday, I like it very much so far apart from the siezed/stripped seat binder bolt but I have not ridden it yet. As I may have mentioned, I'm at home with children for a couple of days while Mrs B is off getting some RnR. It's her last night away today so I'll let you know how I get on with my first faultering wobbles on the long road to PBP (I wish..) which is due for tomorrow evening. It seems a quality bit of steel though. Let's hope Mrs B thinks so too! bfn, Tony B |

Thanks for the comments. I'm impressed by the one I saw in the shop, it
seems a good combination of components for the price and looked well put together. Regards, Malcolm PS Hope your wife approves. "Tony B" wrote in message ...
