Default Stratagems for putting aspirants off cycling for good

1. Inverse promotion, especially by a known unattractive, negative personality. Screeching "danger, danger" at the top of your voice and claiming hysterically that cycling is safe, safe, safe. This works especially well if you're a negative personality like Krygowski, whom nobody believes anyway. And, of course, repetition has a geometrically counterproductive effect. I reckon, by now, every time Krygo opens his mouth to screech that CYCLISTS DON'T DIE ON THE ROADS, ten thousand prospective cyclists are put off cycling for life.

2.. Fill in yours fave stratagem for putting aspirants off cycling for good..

When I see the damage Krygowski does every time he opens his mouth, I just want to weep.

Nice trolling there Old Boy.

From Wikipedia:
In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

Hip, hip and cheerio.

Sort of like posting Danger! Danger! Links when cyclists protest unsafe
conditions.

Yah, that's what I thought. The RBT TROLL PRIZE definitely goes to Krygowski for years of assiduous trolling putting off would-be cyclists. Amazing that Rideablot can't see it, but then it isn't the first time he's displayed his tendency to take sides on personalities rather than policies.

By the way, Rideablot, another of your "enemies", Krygowski, and I are in perfect agreement. Cycling is safer than is generally believed. In fact, poor Krygowski is forced to work with my numbers because his were so incompetently derived that they made cycling seem more dangerous than it truly is. But, basically, we're on the same side. The difference is that I'm a competent publicist and poor Krygowski is a walking counter-production of negativity.
