A pensioner dad was punched by a cyclist he challenged for almost
knocking him over on a busy high street.
Patrick Walsh, 70, said 'watch where you're going' but was then knocked
to the floor during the attack on the A6 (Stockport Road)

Police are now investigating the incident which was reported at around
4.30pm on Monday afternoon. Mr Walsh was leaving Barclays bank at the
time. "A young lad on a bike had nearly run into him so he said
something like 'watch where you're going'.
"The lad on the bike should have just rode off But the thug - who was
with three other young men on bikes - stopped and turned back towards Mr
Walsh.
He got off his bike outside Greggs and punched him in the face knocking
him to the floor.
"There were four youths there. One knocked him to the ground.
"The three other lads were shouting 'he's coming after you'", Victoria
told the M.E.N.

I carry a chisel to defend myself against this cycling scum.
I have a little dog on a lead and can handle two of these cycling scum
cowards with one hand, four might require a chisel - but I bet they run away
before I beat the **** out of them.

Appears to be something to do with cycling. Does this give hope that you
will stay on topic in future?

So no evidence this happened on the footway but plenty of proof pedestrians should wear helmets.
