CINCINNATI - The city of Cincinnati Bicycle Transportation Program is
seeking public input for the Central Parkway Bikeway plan.
The plan calls for the creation of bicycle lanes between Elm Street
and Ludlow Avenue on Central to "spur the largest number of people to
use bicycles, while still balancing the needs of other people who use
the street," according to the city's website.
Three options are presented to viewers on the bike plan's webpage at
http://ow.ly/napZe to chose from for phase one, sections two and three
of the project that run from Elm Street to Liberty Street and Brighton
to Marshall avenues.
Those options include a single bicycle lane on each side of Central
Parkway, and a two lane bike path on one side of the roadway. Also
included in one plan is a "cycle track" that establishes a physical
barrier between car and bicycle traffic.
Phase one, segment one that runs from Elm to Liberty streets will
consist of a single lane cycle track, according to the website.

Input is also being sought on a re-striping project of Delta Avenue in
Hyde Park and Mount Lookout that would add a bicycle lane connecting
