Vegan Triathlete Blog

I just decided to become a triathlete. It's going to be a little while
before my first triathlon (and hopefully a very long time until my last
one), and I plan on blogging about it the whole time. Check out the
blog that I just launched today:

http://vegantriathlete.info

What do you think? Are you going to read it?

I've also added some forums to bring the triathlon community together.
Check them out too:

P.S. I'm a vegan, that's the reason for the domain name.

It must be compicated getting enough nutrition especially protein.

Do not listen to this obviously vegan hating bunch.
I got shot down immediately for suggesting anything so senseless as
olympians on veggie diets.

Not at all. It's just not as much fun.

You're a humorless lot. You're an inspiration if you're a vegan for
medical reasons. If you're one for political reasons, then it's just
mommy-lookit-me tokenism. Guess what, your lifestyle choice only annoys
others and does zero to help the earth. Want to make a difference?
Write letters to your local paper and your senator and
congressfolk--that's what makes a difference, not suffering through yet
another lentil salad in your hair shirt.

There have been plenty of athletes of all sorts who were vegan. There are
even vegan bodybuilders. I suppose one can get enough protein without eating
meat or dairy, but that's a LOT of soy.

You're 20 years old, you live with your brother-in-law and his wife and
daughter, he's a swimming coach but has no swimming suit although he is
thinking about buying one? No, I am not going to read any more of your
blog.

Ted.
