Looking for recommendations for a bike shop in or near Honolulu and info on
renting higher-end road bikes. Thanks.

I've had good luck (a few years ago) with Island Tri & Bike in/near Waikiki.

I tried to rent a bike at Island Tri & Bike in May but they'd stopped.

I ended up at The Bike Shop instead. The bikes they had was NOT high-end,
Specialized Allez road bicycles with Shimano Sora/Tiagra equipment.
