oups.com...I just perused a site and saw that a Scott Spark, which looks like a
carbon Jamis, retails for $5300.

Wow.

Then I saw that a Spesh S-Works Enduro Carbon goes for $7100.

WOW.

Funny, just posted what I thought of the Carbon Enduro and then saw this
post. I paid way less even in Canadian dollars, but it's worth every penny
: )

Shaun

Well, I know that you're putting that thing through its paces, so if
you say it's worth every penny, that must be one hell of a bike.

Now that's funny. I never looked at it that way. Reminds me of all
the money the casinos are supposedly making for the indian

We have the same thing he gaming as a way to economically
revitalize downtown Buffalo. Like out-of-state tourists are really
going to come to Buffalo to go to some cheezy Seneca casino. All the
money lost in the casinos will be from locals. And redistributing
money from the poorest people in the community to the richest is not a
form of economic growth.

Interesting take on the whole indian casino trip. I had never been to
one until Wednesday night when the g/f and I went to see Phil Vassar
at one. Apparently the no smoking indoors in California thing doesn't
count on the reservations. I could not believe how crowded the casino
was on a weeknight. Most of the patrons who were gambling were either
elderly, looked like mega addicts, or total dirt merchants. It was
weird because people attending the show were obviously outsiders and
the room where the show was held was virtually smoke-free. The Patron
Silver margaritas were pretty inexpensive though...

JD didn't drop a quarter in fear of choking to death on the smoke
cloud
