The sudden cessation of uncontrollable shaking can have two meanings
depending on whether you're warming or not.

If you're not, you're not far from severe hypothermia, and the next
significant event can be your heart beating essentially stopping.

Take hypothermia VERY seriously.

Not an experience I would have like to repeat.


Good to hear you survived -- hypothermia is nothing to play around with. My
experience is that being damp and the weather being in the upper 30s to
lower 40s can be worse than being dry and it being below freezing.
