Never ridden 56cm Gios Super Record '78 frame and fork with Campagnolo
headset and bottom bracket

In 2003 Excel Sports, the sole distributor of Gios in the US, commissioned a
25th anniversary replica of a very limited edition of the 1978 Gios Super
Record frameset. The frameset was built at the same factory as the originals
were made (this one is number 45 of a 100 frame limited edition run of these
Gios Super Record '78 framesets) using the same construction methods as the
1978 model, but designed to allow modern components to be used on them.

They sold out before I could get one, so when I saw this built up but never
ridden Gios Super Record '78 recently I bought it without even blinking.
With too many frames, however, even this one (which truly is a bit tall for
me) is for sale.

This beautiful lugged steel frameset is painted in the famous Gios Blue
color with white panels, a metal headtube badge, and GIOS engraved at the
top of the seat stays.

The frame measures 56cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of
the seat tube (or 56.5 cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top
of the top tube) with a 54.5cm long top tube.

The fork is 1" threaded with a traditional fork crown that has the "Gios
coins" inserted in it. The bottom bracket shell is Italian threaded with
cutouts on the bottom. The horizontal rear dropouts are Campagnolo, fancy
drilled with adjustable screws, and measure 130mm wide. The cable guides are
brazed-on above the bottom bracket shell, with a braze-on front derailleur
and downtube shifter bosses also. This frame takes a 27.2 seatpost. The rear
chainstay measures 41cm and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. There are two
sets of water bottle bosses.

This particular Gios frame and fork were built up, displayed as "rideable
art", but never ridden. There are a few paint scuffs at the rear dropouts
and a couple of very small chips on the bike from build-up and display, but
overall this frameset is in absolutely fantastic condition. All of the tubes
have been treated with Boeshield T-9 rust prevention spray.

New 54cm Habanero titanium frame

I ordered and bought this frame brand-new from Habanero this past winter and
have not done anything with it other than I took it out of the box to look
at it.

I owned and rode a Habanero in this exact model and size and loved the ride.
The titanium frame makes for a smooth ride, yet the oversize chainstays and
frame design don't allow the frame to flex when climbing or sprinting. This
frame has the expensive-looking nice brushed finish, which means no
maintenance is needed to keep it looking great.

This Habanero measures 54cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top
of the top tube, or 55.3cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top
of the seat tube, with a 54.5cm top tube. The Habanero Titanium road frame
is made from seamless, brushed Aerospace Grade 3Al/2.5V Tubing. The headtube

New 53cm LeMond Tourmalet frame and fork

This is a great price on a great frame and fork! This is a new LeMond
Tourmalet frame and fork that has been sitting in a bike shop just waiting
for someone to build it up and ride it.

This frame measures 53cm from the center of the bottom bracket to center of
the top tube (or 54cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of
the top tube, or 55.5cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of
the seat tube) with a 54.5cm top tube.

The frame and fork are painted a brilliant fire engine red, with white
panels on the seat tube and down tube and contrasting red or white decals.
This is a very nice, very fast looking frame and fork! The frame tubing is
the legendary Reynolds 525 steel that was TIG welded here in America and
comes with a 1" threaded fork.

The rear brake cable is routed at 7 o'clock on the top tube, frame takes a
clamp-on front derailleur and has braze-on down tube shifter bosses and a
pump peg and two sets of water bottle bosses. The rear dropouts are short
horizontal (no dropout screws included, I never use them) and measure 130mm
wide. There are threaded eyelets on the fork and rear dropouts.

The condition of the bike is excellent as it is a brand new model from the
very late 90's. The paint is vibrant and the frame and fork have been
completely treated inside the tubes with Boeshield T-9 rust prevention
spray. There are very few very small tics from shop wear that have been
touched up by matching red touch-up paint and are hard to even see unless
you look for them.
