DIY wooden bike fenders
Trouble is: as portrayed, these fenders are flat.
Angle of incidence == angle of reflection. Fenders with ogee curves to them nicely gutter rainwater downward. I suspect flat fenders would tend to bounce water into all kinds of crazy directions, some of which might blow back onto the rider's legs, in which case, why have fenders at all? But as with any recipe, imaginative modifications are possible. full URL: http://www.momentumplanet.ca/compone...n-bike-fenders abbreviated URL: http://tinyurl.com/qmbf2z cautiously sneak up on it: http://PREVIEW.tinyurl.com/qmbf2z Personally, I do like the idea of mixed-media bikes. Like the Calfee bamboo bike. cheers, Tom -- Nothing is safe from me. I'm really at: tkeats curlicue vcn dot bc dot ca |
