Titanium, doubtful AFIK. _ Titanium, if sturdily built enough would probably be just fine, but saving a pound on the frame at a very high cost makes almost no sense when you're going to load at least 20 or 30 lbs of gear on it. If you're credit card touring, then it might make some sense. Most fully loaded bike tourers tend to be on the frugal side, and getting touring appropriate geometry and stiffness is generally a lot cheaper in steel. _ However, given all that there is somebody somewhere who has done a multi-week tour on just about any kind of bike you can name. I'd focus a lot more on comfort, fit and how the bike handles fully loaded rather than what material the bike is made of. _ Booker C.
