Default rust inside the frame how to treat it

the eternal hope-the lab produces! well, not always, the lab is out to
make a buck. but here we have the lab admitting the LPS-1 didn't do the
job so now we bear the 3.*
you'd think-a dash of phospor, a sprig of zinc, a dash of genetically
modified linseed, eye of mammoth and rust would be solved!!
well it sure is-especially if the product is sprayed on aluminum.
ok get the scaffold ready

are there any Curti left on earth? how did this happen? busy?

the problem is this (beyond my arrogance developed from years rust
scrapping)
the paint fails over time and believe you me the bargain (as used now)
steel lugged frames discussed for serious reconditioniong and use have
OLD CHEMISTRY paint now in failure mode. Now the good old steel lugged
frames have good paint-even the good paint slowly (inside the tubes!)
slowly releases itself from surface adhesion to its brother molecules,
and holy cow! drifts away in the direction of Uranus.
the lps people make this point ( if you can read at their level) that
the 3 series does not harm paint. this is a big deal. whatever gets
poured into the frame needs testing on the outer paint. divinty
deleted, all you need is to pour thinner/linseed in and have the good
old paint lift and bubble.

so the problem as seen from the exotic humid gulf coast where chrome
tools in the tool box in the shop all need periodic coats of linseed to
keep rust sorry about this at bay.
all the old frames i take apart before the go into the dumpster(all
inside storage) are at the boprder mentioned above.

i submit, the worry expressed thru this constant stream of whinning
drivel on the subject is soundly based and should be treated!! as an
FAQ!

or you be in there with genius curtis!
