20 somethings love my bike
I don't get it exactly, or maybe I do. I'm a little over 50, but I still
love to get a hold of a discarded bike and make something from it suitable for me. I've gone my whole life being made fun of for it. But now, there is this whole *new* group of 20-ish kids that are doing what I've been doing all my life. And when they see my latest "creation", their jaws drop. I don't think I have $50 in the whole thing and they can't hardly believe it when I show them how I did it. My wife is less appreciative, but she thinks it odd when the kids start standing around admiring mt "freakazoid" bike. You wouldn't want to ride a century on it, but it really rides fine for local errands. It is definitely utilitarian. http://www.ericvey.com/photogallery/...23490/real.htm page works best with IE. |
