Copper socks? Copper towels? How about copper subway poles? These are
only a few of the uses Chile, the world’s biggest copper producer, is
applying to the red metal now used more in the construction and auto
sectors.

My wife might wonder what had gone awry, but she knows better than to
have anything to do with my feet anyway.

My company is looking into an involvement with the copper as a surface
coating for anti-microbial protection. Apparently, the copper impregnated
fibers that are used in the socks work extremely well. It is also valuable
when used in sheets, pillowcases, drapes and many other touch surfaces.

This technology comes from a group in Israel. We are supposed to meet with
them shortly.

Probably a good material for a "Don't Taze Me Bro" bike jersey. ;-)
