5th 1984 Worlds RR (1st Claude Criquelion, Belgium, 2nd Claudio Cortio, Italy 3rd Steve Bauer, Canada) [A warm up for Ronsse??] * I remember Criq and Corti finishing one by one there, but the podium was worth mentioning indeed. * It's Ronse. But Ronsse is a familyname which might appear in you Happy Birthday's. Tom Steels (1971) Belgium ================ record holder Belgium Road Nationals since 2004 |

Hey great But off topic but I need some information. But do you, or anyone for that matter, know if I will I have any trouble buying a Groene kaarten/Carte Verte/Green Card in Rotterdam? -- le Vent a Dos, Davey Crockett Six Day Site: http://sixday.741.com/ |

What I need is the Liability Certificate for my vehicle when I pick it up at the docks. I'm just in the planning stage at this time but am considering some alternatives. It just seems that Rotterdam is the best alternative as I could then do some visiting in Spa although my final destination is Antibes. Actually I was looking at shipping costs which are somewhat weird. Bremenhaven and Rotterdam are $900; Naples is $1,200 but Liverpool is a ridiculous $1,400 with the further hassle of driving to Hull and spending a night on the Zeebrugge ferry which I hated last time I went that route. -- le Vent a Dos, Davey Crockett Six Day Site: http://sixday.741.com/ |

It's issued by the insurance company after buying a "wettelijke aansprakelijkheidsverzekering motorrijtuigen". Price, I don't know. Can't you just buy liability insurance in canuckersland, with European coverage? I think you need at least a fixed (postal) address. Right, the legal liability insurance certificate for an automobile. Price isn't the prime consideration, although a postal address in reasonable proximity to the destination port might be. In any case, the situation is not quite as simple as it seems at first. There are several tricky bits involving licence plates, taxes, North American Insurance, etc. And the only Green Card a Kanuk knows about is the one needed to reside in the United States I am still in the early planning stages, but may ask you for advice again later. -- le Vent a Dos, Davey Crockett Six Day Site: http://sixday.741.com/ |
