I have attached a link to a photograph of an old Gary Fisher bike. I
believe the frame is titanium. Although it was designed to be a
mountain bike, it has a Campy drivetrain. It was picked up at a bike
show years ago.

Question: Is this bike considered to be a "collectible?" What might it
be worth? -- Thanks!

I wouldn't consider it a collectable but it is a nice hardtail rider.

I'm sure that you could get a pretty penny for the parts on Ebay.
For example, some crappy Record OR levers are going for over $100 on
eBay right now - and these were not great parts to begin with. But
collectors covet the stuff.
Looking to make a buck? Part it out and sell.
Looking to have a cool, rare, fun bike? Keep it.

I asked about this bike on singletrackworld for you as there are a few
guys on there who love the retro stuff and are quite knowledgeable.
General consensus was its a lovely bike, and would be collectable to
the right person. The forks are the original RS1 rockshox forks which
in themeselves are a rare item.

Steve.

I guess you never have actually used Campagnolo OR stuff. Best(and
compact with a 20t small ring that was actually a spin on cog, ala
shimano of many years later) cranks made at the time, tremendous brake
levers and calipers, top mount shifters smooth and accurate.

Rapid fire/+, the marketing gorilla of shimano and the price/weight of
Campagnolo doomed Campagnolo's MTB stuff but it was nice stuff that
worked.
