I even preferred Beta Bikers back in the day, and today I would tour on SPDs. -- Jay Beattie. Your cleats are supposed to be adjusted so that the shoe does NOT contact the toe-clip. When using shoes without cleats, it was quite common to wrap some tape around the toe-clip where the shoe would contact it and that was done precisely to prevent wear on the toe of the shoe. Cheers |
