Are you ready for a plague of Vantablack painted invisible bicycles?
https://news.artnet.com/art-world/new-photos-vantablack-906158 https://www.surreynanosystems.com/media/images-videos It's your very own personal black hole. Other riders and drivers won't see a bicycle, but instead will see a black hole moving across the background scenery. Head and street lights won't light up the bicycle because Vantablack absorbs 99.96% of the light that hits it with little or nothing left that can be reflected. The VBx1 paint isn't available quite yet. If you're in the custom bicycle building or painting business, here's your opportunity to do something truly dangerous and potentially quite popular. -- Jeff Liebermann 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558 |

Color me disgusted with so much reckless stupidity. Andre Jute Ruislip The disgusted color should probably be very black. Fortunately, you have some time before you can be colored, as the paint is not yet available. I wouldn't call it "reckless stupidly". More like "wreck stupidity" or more correctly "wreck stupidity" as painting your bicycle with it would likely cause a wreck or accident of some flavor. Please note that the success of new innovations are largely dependent on how badly, easily, and often they can be abused. The Internet was little more than a playground for "researchers" before it was discovered to be a great way to distribute stolen software, music, videos, information, viruses, and fake news. Canvasback would likely be limited to military camouflage applications, were it not for the efforts of chronic abusers, such as myself. An Vantablack bicycle should likely be considered a "minimalist" bicycle, which goes well with the minimalist trend found in minimalist Fixie machines, and the "gravity bike" which is missing brakes, pedals, and common sense. Such bicycles are judged by what has been removed, rather than the more traditional, what has been added. http://www.instructables.com/id/Gravity-Bike/ Warming up for when the VBx1 paint is available: https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=invisible+bicycle If anyone asks to see the bicycle, offer them the line from "The Emperors New Cloths", that only the worthy are able to see the bicycle. Thank you, but applause is not necessary. -- Jeff Liebermann 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558 |
