You know the type - no lights, all black, thinks he's immune from
the law. Gave me a bad scare, luckily I spotted him out of the
corner of my eye and avoided him. I'm sure that being hit by two
tons of unlit black Mercedes is no less painful for it having
diplomatic plates.

I do. Cyclists who think it's somehow "cool" not to have lights even
installed, yet alone on, are bloody idiots, and all too prevalent.

Oh, I should have known that the co-chief motorist-hater would be
complaining about a driver, rather than a cyclist. If a cyclist does
something wrong, Chapman just shrugs and thinks "Using a legitimate
mode of transport means you can 'bend the rules a little'". But if a
motorist does *anything* slightly wrong, or even nothing at all,
Chapman can't wait to come onto his favourite anti-motorist newsgroup
and bellyache about it. (Although it seems that even his fellow
motorist-haters on here have got bored of his oh-so-predictable and
falsehood-ridden ********....)

Of course, the "Using a legitimate mode of transport means you can
'bend the rules a little'" crap only encourages the buffoon cyclists
who don't use lights. It's yet another thing which shows just how
little the motorist-haters really care about people's safety. They
want motorists to be heavily penalised for everything, no matter how
innocuous, and they want "legitimate" road users to be penalised for
nothing, no matter how much danger they place themselves and/or others
in. They want laws and sentences to be based not on the severity of
the offence, but on whether the person committing the offence is using
the "right" mode of transport. The evidence is littered all over
their deranged, screeching posts.

What has his colour got to do with it?
