Ullrich world's best sprinter!
I whole heartedly agree!!!
"Tony" wrote in message om... Based on his performance today in Stiphout against Alessandro Petacchi, winner of multiple sprint stages in the Giro and Tour de France, it's easy to see why Ullrich will win the Tour next year- he plans on taking the flat stage time bonuses in the field sprints. His crushing victory over Italian fastman Petacchi shows he is clearly a better sprinter than LANCE. |

He just chooses not to during the flatter stages of the Tour to let the career sprinters have a chance. He coulda won the Tour on time bonuses, but that's not the real man's way to beat LANCE. LANCE is clearly superior against the likes of Bernhard Eisel and Rene Haselbacher, but against a pure fast twitch rider like Ullrich, he has to take second place. In Stiphout, Ullrich won the sprint by 12 seconds. I mean, is that a hell of a jump or what???!? Jeff |

He'll have to show more than that.......plus if Lance reacts first (which he usually does) Jan will be sitting there trying to figure out what is happening.......much like on the climbs............ Ullrich will never win 5 tours.........may one more that it.......... Then all the young and up and come youngsters are going to kick the old guys........... unfortunately.......you can't beat youth........I know......I'm old. And a tard. I don't think your difficulties with pedalling a bicycle are entirely due to degredation of your muscles Dale. The mouth breathing and head banging aren't conducive to good cycling form. |
