I'll give you that Armstrong is only on there `cause he is a cancer survivor.
And Mia Hamm because everyone wishes women's soccer was more popular than it
is. Other than that, I can't see much to argue with. Hawk and Johnson should
be a little higher, and Ernhart excluded only becuase of the ugly ****ing
shades, but that's just picking nits.

Are those "Gaygoyles" as worn by Clint Eastwood and others? If only
they could make them a little larger. Dang they are ugly. Stop
complaining about my M-frames.

I speculate "rich" was aiming the charge of "politically correct"
not at Armstrong and Hamm, but other athletes who pushed people's
political buttons: Ali, Billie Jean King, Tommie Smith and John
Carlos (glad to see them remembered) for example.

I liked the picture of Bill Russell elevating while all the other
guys had their feet firmly on the floor.

Jesse Owens was missing.
