Doesn't change my choice (which I will keep to myself). But why
Cannondale? The homeless in Philadelphia seem to be riding NEXT bikes.
I guess NYC is just that much more classier, er wealthier. There's
one real foul smelling guy who stands at the corner by the Ben Franklin
bridge and instead of begging for money begs for inner tubes. He once
knocked on my window as I was coming home from a ride in Wissahickon
and asked if I had any used tubes he could patch. He wasn't too happy
when I told him my tires were tubeless.

Hey, run down to Ohio and vote! I hear they're not really checking minor
things like I.D., citizenship, residency, etc.

"Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe
me, fellow-citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly
awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of
the most baneful foes of republican government. But that jealousy, to be
useful, must be impartial, else it becomes the instrument of the very
influence to be avoided, instead of a defense against it. Excessive
partiality for one foreign nation and excessive dislike of another cause
those whom they actuate to see danger only on one side, and serve to veil
and even second the arts of influence on the other. Real patriots who may
resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and
odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the
people to surrender their interests."

I seem to recall hearing on the news that theres a group in the states
saying that illegal aliens should be able to vote also. Now I may just
be a dumb cannuk and all but that just doesnt seem right.

there's a group for everything...I'm not really that surprised. they'd
say whatever would help them get "their" candidates elected. shoot,
they'd probably be importing them by the truckload just to drive them to
the polls on election day themselves.
