Mongoose Randonneur owners - how's the ride?

Randonneur (apart from the abovementioned reviews), which is why
started this thread. Perhaps, though, no news is good news in a way
if the Randonneur's aluminium frame was failing at the rate that som
steel afficionados on this site would lead us to believe is likely on
touring bike, I'm sure unhappy owners would be posting about it. :
