Vintage Schwinn Paramount Track Frame, Fork & Headset – Campagnolo Cinelli

Vintage Schwinn Paramount track frame, fork and headset in great
condition. The seat tube measures 55 cm c-c & the top tube measures
56cm c-c.

The entire frame is chrome plated and then painted. This is the
original factory finish. The blue metallic paint is in very good
condition and some small chips were touched up. There is no rust on
the frame due to the chrome plating. The Campagnolo front and
(horizontal) rear dropouts are also chrome plated. The bottom bracket
lug is made by Cinelli (see detail photo info below). The frame has
not been drilled for brakes or altered in any other way.

Richard Schwinn at Waterford was sent photos of this frame & fork and
he confirmed that it is a Paramount, probably from 1984, built with
Columbus track tubing (he believed it has the PS designation). He also
told me that this would have been one of the first frames built with
the new Paramount decal set.

The frame does not have a serial number stamped on it but, according
to Richard Schwinn, the factory would occasionally build a show bike
without a serial number.
