Default FS: NOS 54cm Rossin Columbus Neuron frame and fork

This Rossin has never been ridden or even built up, as it is new old stock.
I bought it from a bike shop when they were closing out some of their Rossin
line of framesets.

This beautiful fully-lugged Rossin measures 54cm from the center of the
bottom bracket to the center of the seat tube, with a 55cm top tube. The
frame has a canary yellow to inkwell blue paint scheme with contrasting
decals on the down tube and seat tube. The 1" threaded fork is a matching
yellow with chromed lower legs. The right chain stay is also chromed.

The tubing is Columbus Neuron, one of the finest steels offered by Columbus
and designed exclusively for bicycle frames. Neuron tubing is one of the
tubesets in the Columbus Nivacrom steel family. Columbus Nivacrom gets its
strength not from heat-treatment, but from special composition. Niobium and
vanadium are alloyed with the other elements to produce a high strength and
dependable steel. The high end Columbus tubesets are all made of this same
material, with different shapes and butting profiles. Makes for a strong,
yet light, steel frameset.

There are two sets of water bottle bosses, a braze-on front derailleur tab,
down tube shifter bosses, and the rear brake cable is internally routed
through the top tube. The rear dropouts are semi-vertical with adjusting
screws included. The rear spacing on the dropouts is 130mm, the head tube is
136mm in length, and the 1" threaded fork steerer tube measures 182mm.

The frame is fully lugged, with the Rossin "R" cut out of the lower head
tube lug. The head tube lugs also have a curl on part of them, making for a
very nice fancy touch. Decal on the bottom of the seat tube says "Handmade
by Rossin Italy The Dupont System".

This bike was new old stock with a very few very small paint chips that have
been touched up. I cleaned up the bottom bracket shell and an Italian bottom
bracket spins right in.

$450 professionally packed and shipped and insured to the lower 48 United
States.

Pictures available on request.
