Default FA: Shimano Dura Ace 7400 Track Pedals with Toshi Double Straps

NO RESERVE!

Although they've been out of production for a very long time, Shimano's
7400 pedal set remains one of the most popular pedals at velodromes
around the world. The body of the pedal provides good ground clearance
and it houses perhaps the best bearing system ever put in a pedal.

Although this pedal set works with any appropriately slotted shoe
cleat, many riders use 7400 pedals in concert with Shimano's PD-64
cleats (see other auction). The PD-64 cleats are designed to mount to
the common 3-hole (Look pattern) studs found on nearly all contemporary
cycling shoes. Note how the leading edges of the cleat (both the
"wings" and center part) engage the triangular (sort of) plate that
secures the toe clip to the pedal body. Lateral movement is accordingly
limited and many riders feel it provides a more secure coupling of shoe
to pedal (less likely to accidentally pull out) than with other formats
(text borrowed from www.businesscycles.com)

This auction does not include the cleats, but they are available from
www.businesscycles.com, the best source ANYWHERE for track specific
equipment. If you are a size 43, see my other auction for a pair of
rare Duegi shoes with these cleats attached. These pedals include Toshi
Double Straps ($80 value) and were used for one season of competition
are in excellent condition.
