about his crystal engineering speed ross, but i can't found any

For pics, type in "Speed Ross" on this website: http://images.google.com

Peter Ross started making the Speed back in 1990, I believe. I saw
him race at the 1991 IHPVA Championships in Milwaukee. The Speed was
produced over the years by several different makers. It was way ahead
of its time. Many newer bikes owe much of their design to the Speed
Ross.

Peter Ross retired after a number of years developing both the Trice an
the Speed Ross

For a while Orbit cyces manafactured the bike under the "Crystal" name
and there are a few around in t he for sale pages in cycle magazines

Unfortunately as Peter retired and sold the Trice to Inspired Cycl
Engineering, the Speed Ross was being superceded by the low racers an
semi-low racers such as the Challenge Hurricane and I presume wa
therefore not a really viable proposition for ICE

As I have posted elsehwere, I do believe that Ben Cooper at Kinetic
in Glasgow (www.kinetics-online.co.uk) has the patents and jigs fo
the speed ross, whic though it has not got the suspension of th
Street Machine, is still a god basic touring machine for light an
fast touring

Pics are available on the Oliver Zechlin HPV disc,or Ben may have some
