There's a billboard in town - presents itself just as I am making a
gradual climb. It seems to feature a lot of medical type services -
e.g. cardiac (heh :-) - and then for a time it had an ad for the knee
replacement people; made me feel the burn a little more acutely.

(I might should have edited the subject line [still reading
Schindler's List a bit at a time - engaging read], but really don't
think about such things unless I perceive malicious intent, which I
don't... but now that I've carried on about it this far, I guess I'd
better since I can only get so close to being in another's shoes, and
it's not so very close.)

I know the feeling. I'm experiencing knee pains which could be any of
a number of disgusting ailments, all pointing towards either
orthoscopic surgery or an expensive knee joint replacement. Some
friends have had it done, with varying degrees of success. Maybe I'll
take it easy riding, drop some mass, and avoid reading billboards.

The book is much better than the movie. My parents and several
relatives are on the list. Some of those mentioned in the book were
friends and acquaintances, mostly from the Smog Angeles area:
http://auschwitz.dk/schindlerslist.htm
http://www.writing.upenn.edu/~afilreis/Holocaust/steinhouse.html
I have great difficulty reading the book or watching the movie. I
read a few pages, and then put it down for a few days. I've never
finished reading the book completely. There are also some stories my
parents told me which didn't make it into the book. When faced with
such inhuman behavior, one should remember that given similar
circumstances, there is little to prevent us from following the same
path or not raise one's voice against it. Enjoy reading the book and
feel free to bug me if you have any questions.

Oh well, Zionism is dying - and you can give particular thanks to
Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid for declaring war on the Haredim and
Hasidim. Once the Zionists lose the Orthodox outside of Occupied
Palestine (Rabbi Kook's Band-Aid [1] not withstanding), its game over.

SHERM, not out riding ?

850,000 deaths in Treblinka is a lot of death. What is that 800/day ?

Stalin is awarded 52 million but not exclusively during WW2

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_W...locaust_deaths

connection to helmet effectivenes denial ( HED) is remote at wurst.
