Default Where in the US would you retire to ride?

I'm on the slippery slope to retirement after 40+ years in manufacturing.
I've been a MTB rider for the last five years here in New England and
although I enjoy the winter riding I'm dreaming about a warmer climate. Any
suggestions?

Thanks.

I took a trip to Sedona a while back. That area sticks in my mind as a place
to consider. And I am............

I'd look for a place where, if I became unable to ride, it wouldn't be the end
of my little world.

Also for me, at least, access to the ocean would be a "must".

I'm serious as a heart attack. We may have to try renegotiating with
the Indians for more CAP water. Tom

Phoenix area and you won't have to spring a head or fall back ever. No
time change. And much more.

Like
more traffic
less water
more hikers that insist they "own" the trails but never seem to appear for
trail maintenance
high cost of living
and some call it a "dry heat"
