Sandpoint, Idaho - cross country cyclist needs some assistance
My nephew is riding cross country with about thirty people for a fund
raiser for Bike and Build http://www.bikeandbuild.org He'll be in Sandpoint on Thursday and Friday August 10th and 11th. http://www.bikeandbuild.org/cms/inde...38&Itemi d=54 The bike he's riding is a Trek Cadent One (or something like that) with 700c wheels. He's broken five spokes since starting his trip in mid-June and has lost all confidence in his wheels. Not exactly a good situation with the Cascades coming up. Which brings me to my mission. I have to locate some replacement wheels for him. I was hoping to find a bike store that either sells good used wheels or would give a discount for taking the old wheels in trade for some new wheels. He's operating on a shoestring budget and I can't get a new pair of wheels set out to him that quickly from NY. I'd definitely consider buying wheels from someone privately if they're in excellent shape. If you can help or can point me in the right direction I'd be _very_ grateful and you'd have helped set his parents minds at ease. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks! take care Rico |

Toby is a good guy. http://www.adbikes.us/ That's what I did and Toby did take care of him. Sold him a far superior pair of hand-laced used wheels with very little use on them for a very reasonable price. Thanks! R |
