Are these tires supposed to be used on a wood track only? I have a TT
bike and have that tire on it.. I have used it for road before with good
results. I was told by a LBS that I need to get a better tire. I know
the tire is probably the cheapest sewup around but is it a wood track
only tire? When I bought the tire from the LBS (different one) they said
it would be great for training on roads.. Who is right?

They are inexpensive road training tires. Far more tread then you would see
on a track tire.
