Woman comes a cropper on a Boris Bike.
Woman who has not cycled for three years was a poor choice for a photoshoot.

What advantage is there to anyone - however warped (especially politically warped) they may be - in exaggerating what happened? |

If not it is a poor example to be set by Boris. Doug. |

I have seen cars on display inside shopping centres on many occasions. I was chucked out of a shopping centre in Trier last Thursday cos I had my tandem with me. The centre security guard pointed to the 'No cycling' sign, indicating that it meant that bicycles were banned from the centre. I pointed to the 'No smoking' sign and asked if that meant cigarettes were banned, and to the 'No drinking alcohol' sign asking if it meant no alcohol allowed. The subtlety of my point was lost on him, and I trouped off mentioning something about The War (but I think I got away with it)! Clare later told me that not only did the shopping centre have alcohol and cigarettes on sale but it sold bikes too. |

Did they ask why you didn't just go to Ibiza or Torremolinos for your holidays? Clare later told me that not only did the shopping centre have alcohol and cigarettes on sale but it sold bikes too. Bluewater sells Smart Cars. You still aren't allowed to either drive in the centre or even to push a car along in it. |
