Eddy Merckx Century value ?
I sold my wife's 10th Anniversay Eddy Merckx (TSX) complete bike last
year to a friend for $450. I tried to get $800 on the open market but wasn't successful as the Shimano 600 7sp group didn't help. I'm holding out hope that the 10th Anniversay jersey appreciates in value enough to someday cover the gap, lol. Not sure why that SLX went for so much (buyer fancied chrome lugs maybe) and the other went for so low (cheap substitute carbon fork perhaps). You've got a good spread there. Good luck. Shimano 600 (7 speed) rear derailer, brakes and shifters. The Columbus TSX decal is gold. It measures ~23.5" from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube (~59 cm) |
