They may be the same in some cases, but it doesn't account for the distinctly peculiar mentality of cyclists who mow down sick old ladies on a zebra crossing. Err... drivers mow down 100 pedestrians a day. Though I don't know how many on pedestrian crossings, there are bound to be some. Here is one that REVERSES over a pedestrian on a zebra crossing as it didn't hit him properly enough going forward. QUOTE:A hit-and-run driver deliberately reversed into a pedestrian, 48, on a zebra crossing in shocking CCTV footage. The victim was left with a broken leg and severe bruising after the incident in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on December 27. In the footage, the man can be seen walking along the road when he notices the light-blue car being driven towards him. He quickly moves to the kerbside so that he wouldn't be hit by the vehicle, which passes him. But instead of continuing on, the car comes to a stop a few feet ahead. Suddenly, the vehicle reverses at speed directly into the victim who falls to the floor. The pedestrian was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and has since been discharged. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-crossing.html |

Thanks very much for that excellent and erudite compliment coming from YOU. Especially as it is YOU wot sed it. I have no ****ing interest in looking good in YOUR eyes. After all I ride a bicycle. And we all know what YOU think of bicyclists. You think they are the ****witted pits of humanity. And because it is YOU who think that, that is an extremely great compliment. We must be doing something right. |

Normally it involves at least three paragraphs to mangle the original in an attempt to change the subject before demanding condemnation of law breaking cyclists. |
