A pack of Wrights Coal Tar?

Or a few of those once-popular soap-on-a-rope items which can be fixed
to a makeshift lanyard and thus be harder to drop in the shower?

Of those two, I'd go for soap-on-a-rope as being most universally
acceptable.

Popular at the moment, though, if it were an option, would be
fruit-smelling (raspberry is good) shower/bath gel. Smelling like
fruit seems to be In Style.

That might lead to wanton and furious lathering. I think carbolic soap
would be a good gift.

I think a good memento of the free life would be a pair of brake blocks.
