I'm sorry, but I don't understand your point. Do you mean that, had
Landis won the Tour fair and square, Americans, as his fellow
countrymen, shouldn't be proud of him? Or that, if he is eventually
stripped of his Tour win due to the drug test results, we as Americans
shouldn't be ashamed? Could you please clarify?
