Anyone spot the deliberate mistake?

An entire article about cycle-touring without once mentioning the Cyclists'
Touring Club. It's true what they say about journalists, only more so.

What CTC?

It's all about tourist $s, not about fnivat zbarl/cynarg.

I used to manage to strap a tent to my bike and go to nice places
without ever subscribing - do they have special member-only facilities
like easier hills or sumfink?

It's true what they say about journalists, only more so.

Who are 'they', and what do they say?

How mildly interesting.

You miss the point: if you're doing an article about cycletouring it hardly
makes sense to exclude the biggest, oldest, most experienced organiser of
cycle tours. Unless you're a know-nothing journo. Or possibly grossly
biassed.

It's true what they say about journalists, only more so.

There have been lots of surveys which have concluded that journalists are
either the least trusted or next least trusted (after politicians)
occupation in the world.

I reckon the people who run surveys must come a close third ;-)
