Default May Day Bike Ride in Chicago

Last Sunday, 4/29/07, a group of us took a bike ride commemorating the
May Day holiday - observed over most of the world but not in the
United States.

The holiday commemorates the labor struggles around the world. It was
around this time of the hear that the Haymarket Riots occurred in
Chicago and there are several historical places. Most notably the
Forest Lawn cemetery in a western suburb has monuments to those who
gave their lives in this struggle.

It was a one-dayride, around 25 miles. We started in downtown Chicago
and rode out to the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Lots of text, and a few pictures can be found at
http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/MayDay2007

All of the pictures I took are at http://sports.webshots.com/album/558874701VUuVaD
