On the ride last night I heard lots of foreign voices which poses
interesting questions. Is a Friday evening in London mainly about tourists getting in the way of each other? Are most of those angry drivers sounding their horns and deliberately nosing recklessly into the mass of cyclists actually tourists gallivanting around the capital, as are those pedestrians patiently waiting at bus stops for CM to pass? Does CM actually benefit London financially as a tourist attraction? -- Critical Mass London http://www.criticalmasslondon.org.uk "Whose streets? Our streets". |

We get cheers from pedestrian bystanders and welcoming hoots from some drivers. Maybe it is a pleasant change for them to see something other than a constant stream of motorised traffic choking their lungs. -- Critical Mass London http://www.criticalmasslondon.org.uk "More bikes, fewer cars!". |
