Default Question about hard shell bike boxes

Will storing a hard shell case (plastic and foam as far as I can tell) in a
hot attic during a Florida summer ruin it?

TIA,

- Boyd S.

Depends on how long you are going to store it? I know we had several
foam-filled hard shell cases at work (for various types of sensitive
electronic equipment), and after being stored in the rafters of the
warehouse at San Diego summer temperatures, the foam basically turned into
dust after a couple of years at 90 degree + temps in the summer.

YMMV, of course.

Regards
H.
