Falling off (black ice)
Over the weekend, a friend decided to do his regular 10 mile Saturday bike
ride. Cycling down a lane, he skidded on a patch of black ice and ended up with a few bruises to his hands and arms as he tried to protect himself. He's already told the police about the incident and they are now looking for the driver responsible. |

Mr Benn's description reads as if the cyclist just fell off by himself. Or is this just the typical cyclist's 'killer motorists always responsible for accidents' response? DC |

Drivers who kill or injure cyclists are usually exempt from prosecution. |

So are cyclists who ride irresponsibly and cause accidents! DC. |
