FWIW, they're about fifteen miles from my house. I've shopped there,
and I have several friends who have bought their bikes there (including
semi-custom frames), and who regularly have their bikes serviced there.

As a local cyclist, I've never heard a complaint against them.

I have the same reaction when I see somebody selling something that doesn't
disclose their phone number and physical location.

Somewhere along the line, I came away with the belief that the laws in Texas
that apply to mailorder are so weak that it doesn't make sense to deal with
outfits located there. May be total fallacy....but I still want to know where
to find somebody... and that they aren't located in, for instance, Nigeria or
Uzbeckistan....

Thanks to all who replied. I forwarded all posts to the young man asking
the question, and his mother insisted he buy from a LBS. With moms like
that . . . . . . ;-)
