Something smells fishy. 964 North State St. Girard, OH 44420 http://www.frankfordbike.com/FAQ.htm I sit corrected. (Smart-ass!) When even the "Visit Us" link didn't say where the hell they were, I got suspicious. (And I still think it's rather strange.) FWIW, they're about fifteen miles from my house. I've shopped there, and I have several friends who have bought their bikes there (including semi-custom frames), and who regularly have their bikes serviced there. As a local cyclist, I've never heard a complaint against them. -- --------------------+ Frank Krygowski [To reply, remove rodent and vegetable dot com, replace with cc.ysu dot edu] |

Per Bill Sornson:
When even the "Visit Us" link didn't say where the hell they were, I got suspicious. (And I still think it's rather strange.) I have the same reaction when I see somebody selling something that doesn't disclose their phone number and physical location. Somewhere along the line, I came away with the belief that the laws in Texas that apply to mailorder are so weak that it doesn't make sense to deal with outfits located there. May be total fallacy....but I still want to know where to find somebody... and that they aren't located in, for instance, Nigeria or Uzbeckistan.... -- PeteCresswell |

I forwarded all posts to the young man asking the question, and his mother insisted he buy from a LBS. With moms like that . . . . . . ;-) Rick |
