What size is my frame?
I'm looking for a fast roadie as bike2 to maybe race with at 44. So I measured my custom tourer, centre BB to top seat tube = 63cm, t top top tube = 60cm, and the top tube is 55cm. What size modern frame am I looking for -- aeek |

What size modern frame am I looking for? ohoh! minefield ahead!!! horizontal toptube or 'compact' on your tourer? the measurement from BB should be to line going along centre of to tube and seattube intersection, not to the top of the tube/collar IMHO the toptube length and combo with stem length is just as importan cos you can have leeway to adjust it with your seatpost. Get fitted by someone you trust. the difference can be ver enlightening.. -- flyingdutc |

I agree with the minefield. It would be a large frame for some an xtra-large for others. You will just have to try them on, its like ne shoes, if they don't fit, don't buy. Try some of the on line self measuring sites to check your size a well. http://www.wrenchscience.com/ for example -- gclark8 |
